I was floored by Steve Neal's column (Dec. 4) vilifying Ald.David Orr and calling those of us who went to City Hall "goonsquads."
I am a 56-year-old white woman from the North Side who has neverbeen part of a goon squad. The group I was part of there was verymilitant, very integrated, very respectful and non-violent, verynoisy. We were there because we felt the "pols" were acting like agoon squad, trying to ram something through in total disregard ofMayor Washington's agenda that we voted for.
