Do you suffer from triskaiderkaphobia?(Sports)

That's the technical term for an irrational fear of the No. 13. It describes people who avoid the 13th floor of skyscrapers, suffer from recurring nightmares about Jason Voorhees and prefer that Tom Hanks starred in a movie about Apollo 12.

The term does not, however, describe men's basketball teams competing in the NCAA Tournament.

Here, 13 is good.

Or, at least better than 14, 15 or 16.

Teams seeded No. 13 have scored 18 upsets in 88 ties. That's much better than No. 15 seeds, who have won just four times, and No. 16 seeds, who never have won. It's also a touch better than No. 14s, who have won 15 times.
